Getting prepared for each workshop follows that age old mantra of the "Four P's" – preparation prevents poor performance!". On Tuesday morning, I was putting together the "how to sew a button" packs in my sewing room and I looked over to see my 16 month old son Addison quietly keeping himself busy whilst chasing the movement of shadows on the floor. It was one of those moments where the sun is really clean and pure (and because this is England and it is January – the rare sighting of sun deserves a photo) so I quickly grabbed my camera so take this picture. The stillness didn't last long as Addison quickly got restless and I had to finish the bags for the workshop later on in the day, so life lurched back in to motion once this was taken. But you can see a bit of the preparation that goes into getting the workshops organised…..
And as my organisational luck would have it, I got to the workshop later on in the day and forgot the camera on the desk back home! I did manage to get a few shots with my phone but have yet to download them but will try to get them loaded later on today. As we type, I am placing the camera in the correct place so that I don't forget it for later!
